Compost

Our compost is mostly a mixture of decomposed leaves, wood chips and manure. When the materials are done decomposing, they create a rich, dark soil called compost.

By adding this mixture to your soil, you return nutrients to the soil that is needed to grow healthy plants. Compost also helps hold in moisture thereby reducing the amount of watering required. It can help reduce the quantity of pests and diseases in your soil, allow roots to easily grow and get to the nutrients they need and balances the soil’s pH (acidity or alkalinity).

Compost is used to feed your plants. You can add compost to your potting soil, on your lawn to help fill in bare areas and on your gardens to protect your plants and reduce diseases and erosion.
